THE STORY

About this wine

The 2025 estate Viognier from Cristom's Louise Vineyard in Oregon opens fragrant, turns supple on the palate, and finishes persistent and mineral-driven.

Cristom’s 2025 Louise Vineyard Viognier is the producer’s estate Viognier release associated with the Louise Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. Louise Vineyard was established in 1993 on the lower slopes of the Cristom estate, and its first Viognier vintage was released in 1996.

Worth knowing

Louise was Paul Gerrie's maternal grandmother, and the vineyard that wears her name is a diverse 18.19-acre estate site — volcanic basalt, marine sediment, and Missoula Flood soils.

Color: White in the glass.
Nose: Fragrant nectarine arrives first, then green papaya and orange blossom, with a subtle flinty note behind them.
