THE STORY

About this wine

Medium-sweet 2024 Kabinett from the Mosel's Dhroner Hofberg, off one gray-slate parcel—slender green-yellow fruit, piercing acidity tempered by dry extract and residual sugar, a fresh, precise, lively finish.

A highly limited 2024 Riesling Kabinett from Daniel Twardowski, made from a small remaining parcel in Dhroner Hofberg; the release comprises 856 bottles.

Worth knowing

For this small release, Daniel Twardowski turned to Julian Haart for advice—and Haart offered the use of a stainless-steel tank on top of it. The whole run is 856 bottles.

CHARACTERISTICS AND TASTING TIPS OF THE Daniel Twardowski Dhroner Hofberg Riesling Kabinett 2024

Tasting

Color: Green-yellow in the glass.
Nose: Slender green-yellow fruit, lean rather than lush.
Palate: Piercing, vigorous acidity arrives first, and dry extract and residual sugar keep it from running away. A thread of bitterness reins in the sweetness, and the finish is fresh and precise—lively, textured, still moving.

Pairs Beautifully With

A must try with spicy dishes with chili heat, such as Thai or Sichuan cooking
A must try with cured hams and pork charcuterie
A must try with smoked fish such as trout or eel
