THE STORY

About this wine

100% Pinot Noir, a barrel selection from Eola-Amity Hills vineyards in the Willamette Valley — dry, light-to-medium-bodied and perfumed, with savory pine, mint and fennel frond over bright cranberry, currant and raspberry, and crushed slate on a lingering mineral finish.

Walter Scott is an Oregon producer focused on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley. Cuvée Ruth is a tribute to Ruth and Irv Kantor, made in gratitude for the support of Sue and Andy Steinman, winery partners.

Worth knowing

A wine named for family. Cuvée Ruth honors Ruth and Irv Kantor, Sue Steinman's parents — Sue and her husband Andy joined Walter Scott as partners in 2012.
