THE STORY

About this wine

A 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru blanc from Tête du Clos, the domaine's last parcel harvested, on cool white marl in Morgeot. Young, tightly coiled Chardonnay — discreet florals, lime peel, crushed herbs, green orchard fruit, mineral, built for the cellar.

Domaine Vincent Dancer was established in the 1990s after Vincent Dancer took over family vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet and other Côte de Beaune appellations. The domaine is known for precision, transparency and minimal intervention.

Worth knowing

The vines of Tête du Clos went into the ground in 1954, and Vincent Dancer recovered the plot in 2000 — the first to set the lieu-dit apart from Morgeot on the label, so the site now carries its own name. The domaine also raises its whites in 400-litre used barrels.

CHARACTERISTICS AND TASTING TIPS OF THE Vincent Dancer Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Tete du Clos Blanc 2024

Tasting

Color: White in the glass.
Nose: The nose holds back and stays fresh — discreet florals first, then lime peel and crushed herbs, with green orchard fruit underneath.
Palate: Tightly coiled and compact in its youth, layered through the middle. Pronounced minerality and cool-site tension carry the fresh, chiseled finish — mineral-driven and built for the cellar.

Pairs Beautifully With
